1. Q - How do I place an order?
A- Orders can be placed online by using our secure website and paying through PayPal. This is the quickest and recommended method for purchasing books. If you wish to place orders of six or more copies you can also call a customer service agent at 317-352-8200 during regular business hours, or fax an order in, fax #, 317-352-8202. Most orders are filled within 48 hours, unless the title is out of stock. If you have a rush order you can call our customer service agent to check on the status of your order. Whether by phone, fax or PayPal we accept all major credit cards. We do not ship outside the USA.

 

2. Q - How much do you charge for shipping?
A - $3.00 for first book $.99 for each additional book.  For orders of twelve or more units, you can call the customer service department during regular business hours to check on discounted shipping rates.

 

3. Q - What is your return policy?
A - Any book ordered from indianabooksupply.com can be returned within 10 days of the date of purchase or 3 days from receipt of product for a full refund of the sale price only. Indiana Book Supply will not refund shipping costs unless the product was received damaged.

 

4. Q - What is your backorder policy?
A - Indiana Book Supply strives to always have its listed books in stock at the time of an order. On the occasion that we are out of stock on a chosen book listed on this website, we will hold the order for up to 14 days while we get the books in stock.  If we can not get the books in stock we will notify you and issue a full refund of product and shipping costs.  If you wish us to backorder for a longer period, or not at all, you can specify your wishes in the comments section provided during the ordering process.

 

5. Q - Do you service retail customers?
A - Yes, you can find many of our books on sale at a number of retail outlets in Indiana including: Capital Newsstands at the Indianapolis International Airport, downtown Indianapolis at the Indiana State Museum gift shop, and the Indiana Authors Bookstore. Books are also available at gift shops in select parks and hotels. These companies are not affiliated with IBS. If you are a retailer interested in carrying Indiana book products contact us at 317-352-8200 or 800-296-0481 and ask for an Indiana Book Supply representative.  We do not supply books to bookstores.

 

6. Q - Can you accept specialty orders?
A - You are always welcome to contact a customer service representative at 317-352-8200. If we can assist you we are happy to do so.

 

7. Q – I am an aspiring author, what should I do now to be published?
A – We are very interested in helping up-and-coming authors become published. We know that taking that first step into the publishing world can seem daunting, and we welcome calls to 317-352-8200 or email to info@cardinalpub.com to tell us about your book and plans.  If there is a qualified staff member available we’ll take your call or respond to your email inquiry with what advice we might be able to offer.  We are all about supporting the written arts in Indiana and that of course begins by helping those producing the content – the authors.

 

8. Q – I am a Publisher with a book to sell, how do I go about listing my book here?

A – We know that proper support and assistance is crucial to making the Indiana written arts community as strong as possible. 10. Q – What is the Indiana Authors Showcase?
A – Every year, Indiana Book Supply organizes a showcase of Indiana Authors at the Indiana State Fair. The event attracts both well-known as well as unknown Indiana authors, and it is a cornerstone of our commitment to the Indiana written arts. We use it as an opportunity to reach out beyond the bookstore readers that are already buying books and find new readers for Indiana authors.  It also serves as a fund raiser for the IMC-Public Library Foundation. It is always very popular with fair attendees, as well as being a perfect forum for the authors to promote their work.

 

11. Q – Where do I go for information on something not found here?
A – A list of contacts for each department in the company can be found by clicking on the Contact link on the main homepage of this website.  We also suggest you visit your local library if you are not doing so already.  The local public library remains a cornerstone in the dissemination of knowledge and this is no less true concerning the written arts.
